1  Introduction

Welcome to AIforMusic.org (“we,” “our,” “the Platform”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, sub-domains, content, and related services. By visiting or registering an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Platform.

2  Eligibility & Accounts

Age: You must be 13 years or older (or the legal digital-consent age in your country).

Accurate information: You agree to provide true, current, and complete registration details and to update them as needed.

Security: Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@aiformusic.org if you suspect unauthorised use.

Account suspension: We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

3  Permitted Use

You may use the Platform to:

• Discover, read, and share our publicly available articles, forums, and courses.

• Submit posts, reviews, comments, and tool suggestions (“User Content”) in accordance with Section 4.

• Download resources for personal, non-commercial educational or professional use.

You may not:

Copy, scrape, or redistribute large portions of the site or database without written permission.

Upload malicious code, spam, or content that infringes copyrights or other legal rights.

Use the Platform to train or fine-tune AI models, or to create a competing directory or learning site, without prior written consent.

Interfere with the proper working of the Platform, including security or access-control measures.

4  User Content Rules

Ownership: You retain ownership of the text, images, or audio you post. By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and reproduce it for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform.

Acceptable content: Do not post anything that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, harassing, obscene, misleading, or that violates another person’s privacy or IP rights.

Moderation: We reserve the right (but not the obligation) to edit, refuse, or remove User Content at our discretion.

Third-party claims: You will indemnify us against claims arising from content you submit that breaches these Terms or infringes others’ rights.

5  Intellectual Property

• Platform content: Except for User Content, all articles, tutorials, designs, logos, and software on AIforMusic.org are our property or the property of our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

• Limited licence: We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and use the Platform for its intended educational purposes. No other rights are granted.

6  Third-Party Links & Tools

The Platform lists AI tools and links that are owned or operated by third parties. We do not endorse or control those sites and are not responsible for their content, data practices, or availability. Use them at your own risk and review their terms separately.

7  Paid Services (if applicable)

Some courses or events may carry a fee. All prices are shown in Ghanaian Cedi (GHS) or US Dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise.

• Payments: Processed via accredited gateways (e.g., Paystack, Stripe). We do not store card details.

• Refunds: Digital products are refundable within 7 calendar days of purchase if less than 25 % of the course has been consumed.

• Taxes: You are responsible for any applicable taxes or bank charges in your jurisdiction.

8  Disclaimers

Educational purpose only: Content on AIforMusic.org is provided for general information and skill-building; it is not legal, business, or financial advice.

No guarantee of results: Adoption of AI tools depends on many factors; we make no guarantees that using the listed tools will increase revenue or artistic success.

“As-is” service: The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9  Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AIforMusic.org, its staff, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from:

• Your use of—or inability to use—the Platform;

• Third-party tools or content linked from the Platform;

• Unauthorised access to or alteration of your transmissions or data.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform shall not exceed GHS 500 (five-hundred Ghanaian Cedi) or the total amount you paid us for a service in the preceding 12 months, whichever is higher.

10  Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AIforMusic.org, its officers, staff, and contributors from any claim or demand (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

11  Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect legal, technical, or business changes. When we revise the Terms, we will post the updated version and update the “Effective Date” at the top. For substantial changes, we will give registered users 14 days’ notice via email or in-site banner. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

12  Termination

You may stop using the Platform at any time and, if you have an account, delete it through your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms. Sections 4–10 survive termination.

13  Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably. Failing that, disputes must be brought before the High Court of Ghana, Accra. If you access the Platform from another country, you are responsible for compliance with local laws.
